Unit One Review

We are bringing our Place Value unit to a close this Tuesday, September 30th. Below is a way for you and your child to study and practice the concepts and skills required for the Unit test next week. We have completed this activity several times in class.


1. Create a 5 digit number (roll dice, use cards, etc. )
2. write the number in expanded form
3. write the # in word form
4. create the # using base ten blocks
5. round the # to the nearest ten, hundreds, thousands, and ten thousands
6. compare the # to 23, 789 (use <,>,or =)
7. compare the # to 76, 298 (use <,>, or =)
8. Put the following numbers in order greatest to least: your #, 45,688, and 46, 239
9. Put the following numbers in order least to greatest: your #, 23, 128, and 83, 234
10. subtract your # from 134, 567
11. add your # to 3, 567




Repeat if necessary!
