Math Blocks Rock!

Today in Math students practiced creating multi-digit numbers with place value blocks. Once they created the number they had to compare them using <, >, or =. We discussed several strategies for comparing.
1. Using the Place Value Blocks
2. Number Stacking
3.Using a Number Line

**Please check the Math notebook for notes on these strategies**

Next week we will order numbers so a good knowledge of comparing is essential. Practice at home by finding numbers around the house or in magazines or newspapers, then comparing them! Make it fun!!

    I hope we do this agin this year it was kinda hard and easy at the same time we took turns and did not argu. Nautica
