How do you celebrate Thanksgiving??
Me, my husband, Averi, Aidan, Lake, and Ezra, will be celebrating Thanksgiving with my mom and dad, all my husbands family including his mom, dad, older sister & her husband, their 4 daughters, younger sister & her husband, and a few other family friends. We all bring some yummy dishes and have lunch. It is a great day full of fun and family.
We just hope nothing dramatic happens like last year. On Thanksgiving last year, right after we finished eating, all the kids went outside to play. Very soon afterwards, Aidan cam to the door screaming and he was hurt very badly. He had fallen on a tree stump and after cleaning him up and a very careful inspection, he had knocked out 2 teeth and was pretty scraped up! It was quite an event!!!
So we are hoping for a quiet, peaceful holiday this year!

This year after eating way too much yummy food, we all went out to the farm and did some skeet shooting. Even the kids were getting involved! It was quite chilly so Ezra and Lake didn't enjoy it too long but we really worked up an appetite for all the sweet desserts back at the house.

In class we created Pilgrim girls and boys. They were decorated according to our answers to some Thanksgiving questions and the math problem that went along with them. This is how some of them turned out. It was a fun activity!
It was a white Thanksgiving in Kentucky. We went to my grandmaw's and I played with my cousins. Me and my cousin Hannah made videos for memories. I made a cool bracelet and did handstands in the snow. Jacob Bower

DeleteWe went to see my Granny and Papa in NC for Thanksgiving. My Papa has been in a nursing home because of a broken hip. We were able to bring him home for the day on Thanksgiving. It was good to see him. We had a feast with lots of my favorite foods and I played with my cousins outside even though it rained some and was really cold. It was good to see my family. Eli Henderson

What we did for our thanksgiving is we went up to newyork saw the Statue of Liberty,went to the Macy's thanksgiving parade and were stuck in the airport for like forever on the way up there because of a snow storm and got home at midnight.

Madison, that sounds awesome. Well, maybe not the waiting forever part, but the trip sounds amazing. I loved the pictures your mom sent. I would love to go to New York one day but I would have to drive there because I'm afraid to fly! :) I was actually born in Troy, New York. But we didn't live there long so I don't remember any of it. Thanks for sharing about your trip.
DeleteWe had thanksgiving at the hospital. We had turkey sandwiches and dessert. We were so excited that Madi was comeing home the next day. The nurses and doctors were so nice to us. I had alot of fun celebrating thanksgiving at the hospital, even though this thanksgiving was different.

DeleteI had a great Thanksgiving! I went to go see Disney on Ice. We saw a lot of different characters like Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Aladdin, Mickey Mouse, and Ariel.
