Multiplying By Multiples of 10 and 100







When you multiply by multiples of 10, you add 1 zero to the product.

When you multiply by multiples of 100, you add 2 zeros to the product.

Examples:

3 x 4 = 12
3 x 40 = 120
3 x 400 = 1,200

5 x 3 = 15
5 x 30 = 150
5 x 300 = 1,500
